Christmas Tree Setup In Watseka

Bill Wilczynski from SERVPRO of Matteson-Homewood, Chicago Heights-Crete-Beecher, and Kankakee County helped setup the Christmas trees on Walnut Street in Watseka. As a proud member of the local community we were happy to volunteer to help decorate downtown. The Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce appreciated everyones support in making the community look festive this holiday season. The Annual ILA, Illinois Library Association, Conference in Rosemont

The focal point of this gathering of state-wide library representatives was to stress the need for educating residents, through life-long learning programs, on how to protect themselves and their home and business assets. SERVPRO is presenting to several visitors to this annual conference, the ERP brochure. This Emergency Ready Profile was developed by SERVPRO to provide a mobile app containing critical contact information and suggestions for preventing, preparing, and mitigating the effects of natural or man-made disasters. The Fall 2016 CE Classes Held by SERVPRO of Matteson-Homewood

SERVPRO of Matteson-Homewood recently hosted their bi-annual Continuing Education Classes. Our outstanding Sales & Marketing Reps Bill Wilczynski, Matt Leisure, Joanne Mutter and Andrea Ehmen filled the day networking and trading information with insurance professionals in the classes that Todd Davis, from Davis Agency, taught.  These classes are offered twice during the year, in the Fall and Spring and help insurance professionals meet their requirements for their licensing.

MABAS 24 Golf Outing In Crete

Andrea Ehmen and Bill Wilczynski from SERVPRO of Chicago Heights-Crete-Beecher, Matteson-Homewood, and Kankakee County represented our entire SERVPRO team the MABAS 24 Golf outing. The tournament was held in Crete at Lincoln Oaks Golf Club. MABAS 24 - The object and purpose of this Association shall be the mobilization of forces to assist one another under existing mutual aid agreements.  Participants at the 11:30 shotgun start enjoyed on-course refreshments and the awards dinner afterwards. SERVPRO of Matteson-Homewood is locally owned and operated, we’re nearby and prepared to respond quickly to your water, fire or mold emergency. Our team of restoration professionals are proud to be active members of the local community.

Crete Park-A-Palooza Event

Red Cross Firefighter Challenge

We helped sponsor the Amercian Red Cross Firefighter Challenge event, put on by the Illinois River Valley chapter. This time, the event took place in Ice Valley on River Road. There are a number of competitions between individual firefighters and teams. We are proud to sponsor our local firefighters and the American Red Cross.

The Chicago Bears & The Olivet Nazarene Tigers Fundraisers

The Bears 2016 Training Camp kicked off with two special guest speakers Jim Schwantz, Mayor of Palatine and former Bears linebacker, and Jay Hilgenberg the "Center" of attention for the Bears. They talked about the current team and answered questions from fans that were in attendance. Brian McCaskey made a presentation to Dr. John Bowling as a gesture of hospitality and good will between the Chicago Bears organization and Olivet Nazarene University. The annual fundraiser for Bears Care was held along with an additional special fundraiser to help the Olivet Tigers Football team which loses its training facility during Bears Camp. SERVPRO of Matteson-Homewood participated in support of both organizations. We proudly contribute to our local communities and Lets GO Chicago Bears.

Flooding in South Holland

Major flooding hit South Holland on Friday, July 29, 2016, causing severe flooding. Many cars had problems getting around the flooding and got caught. Several cars were submerged in water under a bridge.

Flooding in South Holland

Today SERVPRO of Matteson-Homewood helped those affected by the flood that happened on Friday, July 29th. The team at SERVPRO helped eight families today get their homes back to normal.

New Vehicle For The Crete Fire Department

This week SERVPRO of Matteson-Homewood donated a vehicle to the Crete Fire Department for training purposes. Our Police and Our Bears

We appreciate our local police departments and the officers who protect us daily. For each Chicago Bears home game, SERVPRO of Matteson-Homewood is donating our sets of tickets to our Men in Blue. We appreciate the excellent work they do. We are also giving Blue Magnets reminding our first responders and their families that we will respond to their needs at home for any water, mold or fire damaging event. We proudly stand alongside our Police officers and do what we can to help our local communities. Go Bears!
