When Wild Fires Strike We Strike Back

Air scrubbers are made to remove the pollution from the air and are a very important asset when dealing with smoke damage.

SERVPRO of Matteson-Homewood is part of SERVPRO Team Nichols Disaster Team.  As a Disaster team we not only handle disasters in our local community, but we also travel to where we are needed the most throughout the country. 

In late August of 2020, Hurricanes threatened the cost of Texas and Louisiana and our team was there to lend a hand.  In mid September 2020, our team loaded up a trailer full of equipment to head to Portland, Oregon to help with the restoration efforts while wild fires threaten to destroy communities. 

Our specially trained technicians enjoy having the unique opportunity to travel to help those living near the fires.  Having years of knowledge and specialty equipment to do the job right is what makes SERVPRO stand out from the rest. 

With air quality one of the biggest concerns for those outside of the fire zone, our team loaded up air scrubbers which will filter and remove pollution from the air in homes and businesses.
